Heidi's devotion to her craft and her clients is demonstrated by one of her greatest accomplishments: a two-week trip through Asia spent helping a client investigate an infringement and counterfeit violation. The work culminated in an intense, 24-hour collaboration with local counsel and customs officials to raid and seize the counterfeit products.
Heidi's professional practice focuses on trademark work, including preparing and filing trademark applications with the USPTO and WIPO. She has worked with foreign counsel in over 200 foreign countries, and utilized her understanding to create and implement worldwide anti-counterfeiting strategies. International enforcement remains one of Heidi's greatest interests, and she's leveraged this passion to achieve significant outcomes for clients.
A start-up owner herself, Heidi understands the importance of implementing high-value, cost-effective strategies in branding and trademark development. She's passionate about helping and educating entrepreneurs and business owners on intellectual property protection throughout the evolution of their businesses. With a Bachelor's Degree in International Entrepreneurship and Business Management, and a paralegal certificate, Heidi thrives in a space that melds legal strategies with sophisticated business solutions. In addition to her professional passions, Heidi brings her insight and advocacy to animal rescue, fostering dogs until they find their forever home or until she owns enough land to keep them all.
